「〜の場合〜できないから」は英語にすれば、「if it's... because it can't 」になります。しかし、これだけわかりにくいので、例文を作りましょう。
If that site is fake news (I don't watch it), because it can't be trusted.
「そのサイトはフェイクニュースの場合、信頼できないから（見ない）」
ちなみに、一般的でしたら、「it」を書けますが、上記の英文で具体的に（そのサイト）なので（it）の代わりに「that site」を書きました。
一方、可能がある場合：
If my friend is there at the party I can attend because I can feel relaxed.
パーティーで友達にいる場合、安心できるから出席します。
If it’s ～, it may not be ….
If ～, there’s a chance that ….
If ～, you can’t always trust it.
英語では **may / might / there is a chance that** を使うと良いです。
「そのサイトがフェイクニュースの場合、信頼できない（可能性がある）から」
のように、「断定はしないが、疑いがある」という場面では **may not be reliable** や **can’t always be trusted** がとても自然になります。
