手作りでなく買ったものなのかと思ったって英語でなんて言うの？

手作りでなく買ったものなのかと思った 日本語の通りであればinstead of being handmade, I thought it was something you bought at a storeになりますが、 英語で 手作りじゃないと思った I didn't think it was handmade. 店から買ったものなのかと思った I thought you bought it from a store みたいな表現の方が自然です。 ご参考になれば幸いです。
