「誕生日プレゼント何をお願いしよう」は、英語では ask for（〜をお願いする）を使うのが自然です。日本語の「お願いする」は丁寧ですが、英語の ask for はカジュアルに「これ欲しいな」と伝える時にも普通に使えます。
