 Loosen the rice (with a rice paddle).
   “loosen” は「固まっているのをゆるめる／ばらす」なので、固まっているご飯をしゃもじでほぐす状況に合います。“with a rice paddle” を付けると、しゃもじを使っている感じがはっきりします。
