グラスの中のお酒を全部飲めませんでした
２つほど表現してみました、
I left some in the glass.
leave ～を残す
私はグラスにいくらか残しました。すなわち全部の飲まなかったという表現。
I wasn't able to drink up all in the glass.
be able to ～できる drink up
グラスの中のすべてを飲み干すということはできなかった。（少し残った）
ーI couldn't finish all the drink in my glass.
「グラスのお酒を全部飲めなかった」
to finish all the drink in my glass で「グラスのお酒を全部飲む」
ーI couldn't finish my whole drink.
「お酒を全部飲めなかった」
to finish one's whole drink で「お酒を全部飲む」とも言えます。
