「だいたい」はたくさんの言い方・言葉があります。

だいたい同じ（もの）です。

ほぼ同じ（もの）です。
- They're nearly the same.
- It's mostly the same.
- It's about the same.
「だいたい一緒です」は英語で「basically the same」や「pretty much the same」と言えます。両方ともカジュアルな場面で使えます。
もし、カジュアルではなく、もう少し丁寧な言い方を使いたいなら、「They're about the same」と言えます。
