誰が部屋にいるのってって英語でなんて言うの？

Whoは三人称単数現在扱いなので、Who is in the room?が正しいと思うのですが、Who are in the room?や Who is he in the roomというとどんなニュアンスの変化が生まれますか？

Who are in the room? や Who is he in the room? とは言いません。
例えば、部屋に複数人いると知っていても、この場合は
ーWho is in the room? 
「誰が部屋にいるの？」
と言います。

または次のようにも言えます。
ーIs there somebody in the room?
「部屋に誰かいるの？」
