「相手が興味を持つ話をする」って英語でなんて言うの？

相手が興味を持つ話をする- To talk about something that he/she/they will find interesting になります。 シチュエーションによりますが he/she/they の代わりに the other person もいいと思います。 To talk about a topic that the other person will think is interesting も使えます。 上記のfind interesting は「面白いと思う」という意味になります。 E.g. I found the book very interesting - あの本は面白いと思った。 １分間で相手が興味を持つ話をしなければならない - I have to talk about something that he/she/they will find interesting for 1 minute. 「get interesting story 」は不自然です。

Talk about what the other person is interested in. 『相手が興味を持っていることについて話す。』 「相手の興味を引く話をする」という、より積極的なニュアンスを出したい場合は、 Tell a story that captures their interest. 『彼らの関心を掴む（キャッチする）ような話をする。』 capture their interest は「相手の興味を惹きつける」という非常に自然な英語表現です。
