「it's beginning to feel colder and colder」は「もっと寒くなっている」」と言うニュアンスがあります。因みに「colder」の代わりに「cooler」も言えます。もちろん、「colder and colder」の代わりに「colder」だけと言う場合もありますが、二つの「colder」があったら、冷気を強調します。
