「警察担当で事件事故の記事を書く」って英語でなんて言うの？

ご質問ありがとうございます。 「警察」はpoliceと言います。「担当」はheadとかperson in chargeですので、「警察担当で」はas the head of police (affairs)とかAs the person in charge of police affairsなどに訳せます。でも、新聞記者の警察担当はhead police reporterとかhead of police affairsなどがよく使われています。 ご参考になれば幸いです。
