to set the timer on one's camera で「カメラのタイマーをセットする」
to take a picture of ... で「…の写真を撮る」

ーI took this picture using the self-timer on my iPhone.
「iPhoneのタイマーを使ってこの写真を撮りました」
to use the self-timer on one's iPhone で「iPhoneのセルフタイマーを使う」

おっしゃったように「It is taken with one's camera」はほとんど良いです。

過去形なので「is」では無くて、「was」を使います。後は「私の」は英語で「my」と言います。

「私の」＝「my」ではない場合では、「his 」＝「彼の」や「her」＝「彼女の」や「your」＝「あなたの」や「Bob's」＝「ボブの」になります。
