本州西部の沿岸部（太平洋側）に住んでるって英語でなんて言うの？

本州西部の太平洋側の沿岸部に住んでると言いたい時、どう表現したらいいでしょう？  I live on the coastal area on the Pacific side in ｗestern part of Japan's main island. はおかしいですか。

to snow a little bit で「少し雪が降る」
the coastal area in the ｗestern part of the main island で「本州西部の沿岸部」

頭の部分を They only get a little snow in ...「…では少ししか雪が降らない」としても良いです。
