運動会などで、徒競走などのレースがありますよね。

ゴールテープ間際で自分の前にいた人を追い越したことを表現したいです。
「ギリギリで」と「追い抜いた」の表現がどちらもわかりません。

ネイティブが使う自然な表現を教えてください。
