長引かせるって英語でなんて言うの？

不本意に物事を長引いてしまうことや、わざと長引かせることを英語でなんというのか知りたいです。

to drag something out で「長引かせる」と言えます。

「彼らは相手が申し出に折れることを願って交渉を長引かせた」
to prolong something で「長引かせる」とも言えます。
