外国ではタラの芽は馴染みがないかもしれませんが、天ぷらにして食べるのが美味しいです。
(タラの芽は英語で "sprout of the Japanese angelica tree" や "the young buds of the angelica tree" といいます。でも、外国の方に紹介するとき、「タラの芽」と呼んだ方が良いと思います。もちろん説明するとき、上のように呼べますけど、"Japanese angelica tree" は何なのか知っている人の数は限られていると思います。)
