「着替える」は change や get dressed と言います。今回のように準備をするときの「着替える」は get dressed と言います。change は、例えば服が汚れてしまって着替える時とか、プールに入る前に水着に着替えるときとかに使います。

Get dressedは身支度をするときの着替えを指します。
服を着ることをput onと習ったことがあるかと思いますが、
put onは洋服を"着替える"（例：パジャマから外出着に着替える）のではなく、

なってしまうのでご注意ください。
