学歴が必要だと言う意見に対して、学歴はじゃなく今、頑張っているかどうかで、学歴は関係ないと言う　といい表現を教えください

さまざまな言い方ができると思いますが、下記のような英語表現はいかがでしょうか：

I don't think that's relevant.
それは関係があるとは思いません。

I think that's irrelevant right now.
それは今、関係ないと思います。

relevant = 関係がある
irrelevant = 関係がない

このシチュエーションの「それは今関係ないと思う」は次のように表現できると思います。

ーThat's not the important part.
「それは重要な部分じゃない」

ーThat has nothing to do with it.
「それは関係ない」

例：
One's educational background is not the important part.  I'm talking about whether or not a person works hard.
「学歴は重要な部分じゃない。（重要なのは）その人が一生懸命働くかどうかだ」

One's educational achievements are not the most important thing.  Putting forth a good effort is what counts. 
「学歴が一番大事ではなく、努力することが重要だ」
