I don't need a friend like him.
この場合、次のような言い方ができます。
ーI don't think I want to be friends with him anymore.
「彼とはもう友達でいたくないかも」＝「友達やめようかな」
ーI think I'm done with him.
「彼とはもう終わりだと思う」＝「友達やめようかな」
ーI don't need a friend like him.
「彼みたいな友達はいらないよ」＝「友達やめようかな」
