My eyesight is bad, so I can’t see people’s faces in the dark.
It’s difficult for me to see people’s faces at night due to my poor eyesight.
Because my eyesight is weak, I have a hard time making out people’s faces at nighttime.
夜の時間に日差しがないし周りの全部が暗くるので、英語では「夜」を話している場合「at night」や「nighttime」の代わりに「in the dark」とはよく言われます。
視力の悪さを話すために、「bad」とか「poor」とか「weak」とか言えます。自分のことなら全然問題がありません。しかし、他人のことを話す場合には、その人の感情を傷つけないように、念のため「isn’t the best」と言った方がいいかもしれません。
