車が好きな息子に言いたいです。Look, there is a police car parked  over there/ across the street etc. のような感じでいいですか？

ーThere's a cop car stopped over there.
「あそこにパトカーがとまってるね」

ーThere's a police cruiser parked over there.
「あそこにパトカーがとまってるね」

「パトカー」は a cop car や a police cruiser のような言い方もできます。
