「更新する」は「update」なので
I updated my blog!
と言います。
相手に「今だけ、すぐチェックして！」というニュアンスを伝えるとしたら、
「I just updated my blog!」と言います。
僕もブログを書いていて、読者が最近７千人になっています。ブログを更新して読んでいただきたい時に、単に「ブログを更新しました！」というより相手を引っ込める文章を書くことがオススメです。
I just updated my blogのかわりに
Did you see what I just wrote?
Have you seen my latest update?
This is what is happening in my life now.
などのような文章をオススメします。
どうぞ宜しくお願い致します！

If you don't like me, I won't like you!
Everyone has a blog and everyone wants subscribers and everyone want likes..is that right? In that fragile world, helping each other in terms of likes and subscriptions can take over your whole life! If you don't like someone's blog, they probably won't like yours. It's a tit for tat world. All you can do is tell people to please, "Check out my blog!" and see if they like it.

お互いに「いいね」して助け合うというこの壊れやすい関係にあなたの人生の時間を埋め尽くされてて大丈夫？誰かのブログが嫌いなら、恐らく相手も君のことを嫌いだろう。君にできることは、他の人に"Check out my blog!"といって、あとは彼らがlikeしてくれるか様子見ってところかな。

If you are talking about adding a new post to your blog, then use either of the first two examples.
If you have made general updates to the look and content of your blog, then use the third example.
To 'check out' something, in this context, does not mean to buy a product, it means to 'look at' something and appreciate it. For example:
"Check out that new building!"
"Check out that beautiful person!"
"Check out this funny picture!"
"Latest blog post uploaded!"（最新のプログを投稿しました！）
"Please check out the latest post on my blog!"（私のブログの最新の投稿をチェックしてみてください！）
もしブログに新しい投稿をアップしたことを言いたい場合は、最初の2つの例のどちらでも使えます。
"I've updated my blog, please check it out!"（ブログを更新しました。チェックしてみてください！）
もしブログの見た目や内容を更新した時は、3番目の例が使えます。
"check out"はこの文脈では商品を買うと言う意味ではなく、何かを"見る"と言う意味です。例：
"Check out that new building!"（あの新しい建物を見てください！）
"Check out that beautiful person!"（あの綺麗な人を見てください！）
"Check out this funny picture!"（この面白い写真を見てください！）

ブログなどを新しく更新したことを、みんなに伝えたい時は
やらなければならない事はたった一つ"PROMOTE"（促進/宣伝）することです :_D

（みなさん！あなたの為にウェブがありますよ、私のブログ更新をチェックしてください）
Here in these examples we can see that it is easily possible to use both the simple past tense with, "updated," as well as the present perfect tense, "have updated." Usually the present perfect can refer to moments where the past action is still not fully completed or can be changed or altered again in the present or future. Such as a blog!
