先生に聞いたところ、1.He asked me to take me there. 2 He asked me if I wanted to go there. でした。１はtake me ではなくtake him,2はask~if~は、～かどうか尋ねた という時に使うと思うのですが、頼んだ の場合でも使うのですか？He asked me I took him there.ではないでしょうか？

間接話法だとこうですね。
直接話法なら
He said to me,"Would you take me there?"
となります。どこかで混ざってしまったのかもしれません。
ask if を使うと
He asked me if I can take him there.
となり、これは遠慮がちに、丁寧に頼んでいる ということになります。
英語の敬語は、相手に決定権を渡すことで表現することが多いので、
～かどうか尋ねるのは、「もし良かったら」と相手に対して譲歩しているわけです。
He asked me if I wanted to go there with him.
も「ダメなら良いけど、その気があるならお願いしたい」と言っているのです。
He asked me I took him there.
は、残念ながら違います。「人物 ask 人物 to（動詞原形）」
なので、過去であっても to take になります。
