Hey Takuya!
Receipt
出てくる= come out
My receipt didn't come out of the machine.
of the machine もオススメします。
A: I didn't get a receipt
B: Who took your order?
A: The machine
B: Oh ok.
「I didn't get a receipt」
I'm sorry, but I didn't get a receipt.
I'm sorry, but my receipt didn't come out of the machine.
I placed an order using a self-service kiosk, but it didn't give me any receipt.
I placed an order using a self-service kiosk, but it didn't give me any receipt.
”...it didn't give me...”
This means that you did not receive your receipt from the machine and you would like a reprint.
A reprint is when the cashier/till operator prints again the receipt for you.
I did not get a receipt could you please print me one?
"Please, could you print me a receipt?" This politely asks them to get you a receipt.
"I did not get a receipt could you please print me one?"
"I did not get a receipt" Explains that you did not receive a receipt.
" could you please print me one?" Asks them politely to print you one.
Please, could you print me a receipt?
I did not get a receipt could you please print me one?
「I did not get a receipt」
「could you please print me one?」
Well, it depends what the function of your query is. Do you want to complain about the automatic ordering system? Or do you really just need the receipt? Or both?
You could say, "I didn't get a receipt from then vending machine."
"Oh very sorry sir. Would you like me to write one manually for you?"
"Yes please."
that is what an efficient staff member would say in that situation.
Well, it depends what the function of your query is. Do you want to complain about the automatic ordering system? Or do you really just need the receipt? Or both?
"I didn't get a receipt from then vending machine."
"Oh very sorry sir. Would you like me to write one manually for you?"
"Yes please."
I paid my money but the machine failed to dispense my receipt
When a system has "failed to" to do something it was designed to do...
It can be awkward! Particularly unattended dispensers Liek soft drink machines or in this case an order placed in an automated McDonalds.
We should tell the staff: "The machine "failed to deliver / dispense a ticket!"
"The machine "failed to deliver / dispense a ticket!"
Sorry to disturb, but I did not receive a receipt when I ordered from the machine just now, can you help me please?
Sorry but I did not get a receipt with my order just now, could you help me with this please?
If you would like to ask someone why you did not receive a receipt after ordering a meal, you can say something like "Sorry to disturb, but I did not receive a receipt when I ordered from the machine just now, can you help me please?" or "Sorry but I did not get a receipt with my order just now, could you help me with this please?".
Please could i get the receipt for the meal its not come out of the machine.
I just placed an order through the self service kiosk but my receipt hasnt come out
When placing an order through the self checkout machine, you would normally get a receipt, however if it doesnt come out you could ask the staff there and they should be able to help you get it reprinted.
- 'I have just placed an order but my receipt didnt come out'
- 'No problem, I will open up the till and have it reprinted.'
Your machine did not dispense a receipt for my order. Please reprint one for me.
Is there something wrong with this machine? I did not get a receipt for my order.
1. Your machine did not dispense a receipt for my order.
Please reprint one for me.
The phrase "dispense" means to supply or provide.
In this instance the machine did not automatically provide
you with a receipt therefore you are requesting a manual
receipt from the cashier.
2. Is there something wrong with this machine? I did not
get a receipt for my order.
It always makes sense to start off by enquiring if there's a
problem before putting in a request/demand. After this,
you can elaborate by indicating the problem that you
seem to be having.
Another example:
Is there a problem with your telephones? I can't seem
to get through to anyone.
The ordering machine didn't print out my receipt, could you help me out please?
Examples:
Excuse me, I need some help please, the receipt did not print out of the machine.
Hey there, I think the machine may be playing up, my receipt did not print out after I paid for my meal.
Could you help me please? The ordering machine may be broken, my receipt did not print out after I ordered and paid for my meal.
While I was ordering food at the machine, I was not given a receipt. Could I please get a receipt?
After I gave my order at the machine, I did not get my receipt. Is there a problem with the machine?
Once you have ordered at the machine but you encountered a problem where you can not get your receipt, you can say to the staff, "While I was ordering food at the machine, I was not given a receipt. Could I please get a receipt." or you can ask if there is a problem like this: "After I gave my order at the machine, I did not get my receipt. Is there a problem with the machine?"
May I have a receipt since the vending machine did not issue me with one?
It seems the vending machine has run out of paper since it didn't dispense a receipt for my purchase. Please print out one for me.
The noun 'vending machine' used in the first request means a machine that dispenses small items such as food, drinks and cigarettes. It can also 'issue' the purchaser with a receipt for whatever has been bought. The expression 'issue someone with something' means to supply someone with something, in this case, a receipt. However, if the vending machine has run out of paper, it will be unable to 'issue' the purchaser with a receipt. It won't 'dispense' the receipt in such a case.
So, you may ask the counter staff as follows:
May I have a receipt since the vending machine did not issue me with one?
or
It seems the vending machine has run out of paper since it didn't dispense a receipt for my purchase. Please print out one for me.
Here are two ways that we can explain that the machine never gave you a receipt. Notice that the two sentences are almost the same except with the verbs, "to print," and, "to give," however, when we use the verb, "to give," we must include an object pronoun like, "me."
