不思議な事に英語では「いじめられっ子」と言う言葉がありません。Bullied =いじめられていたと表現する他ないでしょう。

I didn't have any friends =友達が居なかった
でもいいのですが、いじめられっ子でも友達は居る場合が多いですよね。なのであくまで「いじめっ子から守ってくれる人が居なかった」と回答しました。

"Bullied" is when someone uses their strength and influence on you, make you do things that you do not want to do.

In the UK, we don't have middle school, we have Junior school - and then later at 12 years old, Secondary school. So it depends on the age of the child which school you are talking about. However, if you are bullied in any school it is a bad thing and the problem needs to be addressed. Historically, it may be too late to confront the perpetrator of the bullying.
To be "singled out" means to be specifically targeted or deliberately chosen for something, in this case it was bullying, but it can also be used to highlight when you were given praise.
"Made fun of..." is a very common way to describe bulling in British English. It describes when people make jokes about you, such as the way you look or dress etc. It can be done by a group or an individual. These jokes are generally malicious and hurtful, they are specifically used to isolate someone and make them feel unwanted or disliked.
"singled out"（白羽の矢が立つ）されるとは、特に標的にされたり、わざと何かに選ばれたりする、という意味になります。
