みんなでパーティーなどを開く時にお互いが必要な物を購入しておいて、後で精算することがあると思います。
「かかったコストがあまりに違ったら、後で精算しよう！」
と伝えたいです。

精算はcalculate又はfigure it up/figure it outと言います。友達同士の場面では figure it up/figure it outの方が普通です。Calculateも使えますが、calculateはどちらかと言えば、統計や実験の結果のイメージです。つまり、「精算」より「計算」のイメージです。
例えば飲み会の終わりのところで Let's figure up the bill（伝票を精算しよう）と言えます。
研究などであれば、例えば30代の会社員の鬱病発生率を計算する研究の場合、Calculate the rate of depression in office workers in their 30's と言えます。
