～ならば～なほど良いって英語でなんて言うの？

上記にあげたように、このフレーズにはパターンがあります。

〜であればあるほど良い
The (比較級) the better.

他例)
食べ物は多ければ多いほど良い
The more food the better.

仕事は少なければ少ないほどいい

また、例文③のように、最後のbetterを違う比較級の単語に替えれば様々なパターンが出来上がります。

The cheaper the better,　（安ければ安いほどいい）
The earlier the better,（早ければ早いほどいい）
The more the merrier,　（多ければ（人が）多いほどいい）（これだけは特別、パーティーで人を集める時の為に特別"merrier"を使います）。

いずれともフレーズです。

色んな形容詞に適用できますが、一般にシンプルなのに限られます。
The faster the better.
The prettier the better.

例文：
John: So how many people should I call over to watch the football tomorrow?
Julian: As many as you like. The more the merrier.
