「着目」は"recognise"。しかし、着目するだけでは足りないので、”exploit”を使う場合が多いです。
Exploitとは”活用”。日本語ではピンと来ないかもしれないですが、ニュアンス的には「機会の元を取る」と言う意味です。
従って、私の文書では、「会社は新しい市場の可能性をいち早く着目し、活用したから」なのです。
②は高度なビジネス用語ですが、「市場開拓者の優越点」を意味します。ハーバードのケーススタディーなどでよく見かけます。
