「日較差」が普通の会話で出てくることがかなり稀であるように、英語でもこの表現を普通の会話で使うことはかなり稀です。
カジュアルなニュアンスということでしたら、the difference between high and low temperatures for the day（その日の最高気温と最低気温の差）、もしくはthe difference between the highest temperature of the day and the lowest temperature of the night（日中の最高気温と夜間の最低気温の差）でいいと思います。
