1番目も2番目も we still have some time left が「まだ時間が余っている（残っている）」という意味で、2番目の例のように right? とつけると「よね？」という表現になります。
2番目の例では前文に「私は今日のやるべきことをやりました（終わりました）」を付け加えました。 1番目を言い慣れた後に、2番目の前文を足すというやり方をすると、いつの間にかスムーズに言えるようになります（と思います）よ（＾＾；）

extraは「余分な」という意味で、この場合にextra time（必要以上の時間）として使うことができます。

どちらも基本の表現として「時間が余っています」という意味となります。
この表現の後にleftを付けると「残っている」のニュアンスが付きます。
例) We have some extra time left.
また、文の一番最後に...don't we?や...right?を付けると、「～ね？」のニュアンスもあります。

It depends a little on how relaxed you are with your teacher and if conversation comes easily between the two of you - or not. You could exclaim: "Wow, we finished that quickly!" or, you may like to make a suggestion: "Shall we just have a chat for the few remaining minutes?" or, you could take the initiative and suggest something to fill the time:
"Could you ask me some questions related to the lesson please?"
To take the initiative = to be the first one to do something, especially. to solve a problem:
"Don't be afraid to take the initiative and say what you think."

次のように言うことが出来ます。

又は、次のように提案することも出来ます。

To take the initiative = 率先して何かをする
We have done all the material but still have some time left
If you are in the middle of the lesson you can simply say 'We have some time left' you would both know what you were talking about but if not then you would say 'We still have some lesson time left' to explain what time you have left. By saying 'we have done all the material, but have some time left' then this explains it in more detail
レッスン中であれば、シンプルに
'We have some time left'（時間が余りましたね）
と言えば、何の時間について言っているのか伝わります。
レッスン中でなければ、
'We still have some lesson time left'（レッスン時間が余りましたね）
と言えます。何の時間なのか明確に伝えています。
また、
'We have done all the material, but have some time left'（教材は全部終わりましたが、時間が少し余っていますね）

"that was quick" indicates that you have an idea of some left over time before the lesson ends. Then you ask the teacher if there is time left for "free conversation"

This is telling the teacher directly that there is time left to talk about "anything" or if you want to do another material you can ask to do that.

"That was quick"はあなたにレッスン終了までの残り時間にすることのアイデアがありことを示します。それから先生にフリートークをするための時間があるかどうかを尋ねます。

これは先生に直接何についてでも話す時間が残っていることを直接伝えています。または他の教材を使用したい場合はそのことについて尋ねることもできます。

Sometimes, if a lesson is over too early, it's a sign that the material is too easy for the student. You can say: "You went through that really quickly! Maybe you should try something at a higher level!" or "Maybe you should try something more challenging!"
レッスンが早く終わりすぎるなら、それは教材が生徒にとって簡単すぎるということかもしれません。

We still have some time leftover in our session.
The two sentences you see provided above are great ways to express to your teacher that there is still time left in your session. In the first sentence you will see the word remaining and in the second sentence you will notice the term leftover. Both of these words mean that something has not been used up yet. Both of these words would make great additions to your vocabulary.
