責任を持つって英語でなんて言うの？

「責任を持つ」は一般的に to be responsible for と言います。よりかたい表現として、to bear the responsibility of もありますが、大抵非常に思い責任をもって行動する時に使います。

シンプルな方はどの文脈でも変わらないので、「仕事に責任を持つ」と「自分の行動に責任を持つ」は to be responsible for your work と to be responsible for your actions になります。

例
I think it's important to be responsible for your work.
自分の仕事に責任を持つことは大事だと思います。

「責任を持つ」→「To be responsible for」

「（私は）自分の行動に責任を持つ」
「（I will) be responsible for my own actions」

「（私は）自分の仕事に責任を持つ」
「（I will) be responsible for my own job」

という使い方です。

「責任を持つ」は英語で be responsible for ○○ 又は hold responsibility for ○○ になります。

例）

Be responsible for the project / Hold responsibility for the project
企画の責任を持って進める

それに対して take responsibility は「責任をとる」というネガティブな意味になります。

単に、責任は英語で responsibility です。この言葉は自分で動詞になりません。

動詞なら、take や accept のような言葉をつけます。

もう一つの言い方は、形容詞としてという使い方です。この場合、responsibility は responsible になります。

自分の行動に責任を持つ = be responsible for one's own actions
自分の仕事に責任を持つ = be responsible for one's own work

A parent is not responsible for their child's actions.
I'm not responsible for your work. You are.

「仕事で責任を持つ」= To have a responsibility at work; to be responsible at work
「自分の行動に責任を持つ」= To have a responsibility over one's actions.
「自分の仕事に責任を持つ」 = To have a responsibility for one's work.
