I want to see it in real life – ‘real life’ in reality not on a screen or picture, you have to go there to see it. You can also use ‘real life’ to express something amazing/breath-taking, “Is this real life?” It is so great that it couldn’t possibly be real. I need to see it for real – This is similar to above, see it for real – in person, have to be there to experience it for real.

The two sentences you see are terrific ways to express that you want to see something in particular. In the first sentence you will see the expression in person and in the second sentence you will see the expression with one's own eyes. Both expressions mean that you want to see something yourself. These expressions are common in our everyday conversation and would great additions to your vocabulary.

When you want to talk about actually seeing something in real life that you have seen on TV, then you can say: -I would like to see that one day in real life -I'd actually love to go there one day.

This means that you want to go to that place and experience the scenery. #experience=practical contact with and observation of facts or events. >I want to go see the beautiful scenery with my own eyes. This means that you want to go and see the real scenery and not on TV >I want to go live the moment and see this scenery for myself. To go live the moment is to go and experience it. For yourself is to go and see it with your own eyes and not just on TV

In person = actually present "The author will be there in person." Real life = reality, in the actual world, in that particular place, in that location. Reality = You use reality to refer to real things or the real nature of things rather than imagined, invented, virtual or theoretical ideas. "In reality, the sea is bluer and the trees are greener than you can see in this photo."

Looking at things on TV can only "go so far" in showing us the wonders of nature. Nothing can beat "a real life experience and "being there"... Seeing a natural wonder "with your own eyes" is truly the only way to grasp the full beauty and magnitude that exists on planet eatrh...
