日本のボードゲームの将棋は英語でなんて言いますか？

こんにちは。
「将棋」はそのまま shogi と言います。sushi や tsunami、karaoke などと同じ感じです。
ただ、shogi だけだとわからない人の方が多いと思うので、a game like chess（チェスみたいなゲーム）や Japanese chess（日本版チェス）のように言うと伝わりやすいかと思います。

「将棋」は日本語なので「shogi」にしかならないと思います。
ちょっと説明してみました。
【例】
Shogi is a board game similar to chess.
→将棋はチェスに似たボードゲームです。
「similar」は「似ている」という意味の形容詞です。
「similar to chess」で「チェスに似ている」となります。
