ちょっと待ってね、着替えさせてから行くね!って英語でなんて言うの?

子連れの外出、出発ギリギリで洋服を汚したり、なかなか時間通りに進みません。 (子供の)着替え、オムツ替えをする (子供を)着替えさせる などのように、自分以外の人物が出てくる時の言い方がサラっと言えません。

ちょっと待ってね=Give me a minute. ~してから行く=I will go after I__ 1.単に着替えさせるならば、change him/her. 2. 服を着替えさせるならば、change his/her clothes. 3..オムツを着替えさせるならば、change his/her dippers. なので、 1.Give me a minute. I will go after I change him/her. 2.Give me a minute. I will go after I change his/her clothes. 3. Give me a minute. I will go after I change his/her dippers.

hold onは直訳すると、「(何かに)つかまる」の意味ですが、ほかに「ある状態を維持する」や「持ちこたえる、がんばる」などの意味でも使うことができます。特に電話で話すとき、「ちょっと待って」とことを言いたいときに、よく使います。 ちなみにa minuteのかわりに、a secondも使ってもいいです。 それから、hold onと同じ意味でhang onというフレーズもよく使われますが、hold onよりもっとカジュアルな表現です。 Hang on a minute! I'll bring more cookies! ちょっと待って!クッキーをもっと持ってくるから!
