英訳① I'm sorry I kept quiet about this.
keep quietで「静かにしている、黙っている」という意味です。
あるいは、こちらの言い方も可能です。
英訳② I'm sorry I didn't tell you this sooner.

★ 解説
・I have something to tell you
誰かに話を切り出すときになどに良く使います。この表現だけでは、これから言うことが秘密なのか、ただの話題なのかは明確ではありません。
・I've kept it from you.「あなたからそれを保っていた」
from you の部分は、「あなたから離れているところに」という感じです。その離れたところに keep していたわけですね。なので、相手はこれまで知らなかったことになります。
「秘密」であることを言葉にしてハッキリ言いたいのであれば、I've kept it a secret from you. とし「それを秘密の状態で、あなたから離れたところに保ってきた」という感じです。
なお、「これまでずっと秘密にしてきた」という内容なので、現在完了で表しています。現在形の keep にすると、「今保っている」ということになります。

"I am sorry I did not tell you!" - This is a good expression to use after you tell someone what you have been keeping from them, or if they find out and question you about it.
You are expressing that you are sorry for keeping the secret.

Apologize - A more formal expression to say that you are sorry for something you did.
Keeping - Holding it to yourself
Secret - Keeping what you know to yourself and not telling someone else.

秘密にしていたことを謝っています。

Apologize - "Sorry" のよりフォーマルな言い方です。
Keeping - 自分の所にとどめておく
Secret - 秘密（知っていることを他の人に言わないでいること）
I'm sorry I kept it a secret - would be the most normal way to express that you are sorry for keeping something a secret.
I should have told you and I'm sorry. - is recognizing that what you did was wrong and realizing that it may hurt them first, and then apologizing for it, which is a good way to apologize for something.
we can also say :
I have been keeping something from you
I have something to tell you
I want to tell you a secret
"I'm sorry I kept it a secret"（秘密にしていてごめんなさい）
は、秘密にしていて申し訳ないと伝える最も普通の言い方でしょう。
"I should have told you and I'm sorry"（あなたに伝えるべきでした、ごめんなさい）
では、まず自分のしたことが相手を傷つけるような悪いことだったと認めて、それから謝っています。これは謝罪の仕方としてとても良いです。
次のように言うこともできます。
I have been keeping something from you（秘密にしていたことがあります）
I have something to tell you（話があります）
I want to tell you a secret（あなたに伝えたい秘密があります）
I wanted to say I am sorry for not telling you sooner.
Let me say that I am sorry for not telling you.
When you are telling a person a secret that you had been keeping and you want to apologize, you can say "I wanted to say I am sorry for not telling you sooner."
ずっと秘密にしていたことを打ち明けるとき、それを謝りたいなら、次のように言えます。
"I wanted to say I am sorry for not telling you sooner."

When someone has kept a secret, usually from a friend or colleague and then it all comes out in public, any of the phrases above can be used to apologize. Sometimes in English it is better to keep a statement like this short and clear.
When apologising for keeping something a secret you need to make sure you say the words that are needed to show sincerity .These are :
-I am really sorry...
-I know you are mad at me for keeping it a secret,I apologise
-I know I should have told,I am sorry I didn't
These can be followed by an explanation as to why you chose not to tell that person your secret.The idea is to acknowledge that you were not right and to apologise first.
何かを秘密にしていたことを謝るときには、誠実さの伝わる言葉を使う必要があります。例えば：
-I am really sorry...（本当に申し訳ない）
-I know you are mad at me for keeping it a secret,I apologise（秘密にしていて怒っているのは分かっています。申し訳ない）
-I know I should have told,I am sorry I didn't（言うべきだったと分かっています、言わなくてごめんなさい）
これらの表現に続けて、なぜそれについて伝えなかったのか説明してもいいです。
ポイントは、まず間違っていたと認めて謝るということです。
