  • You seem to be in a negative mood today?

  • Are you always going to say 'No' today?

  • If I offered you $100, would you syill say 'No'?

There could be a reason why this person seems to be unenthusiastic about all your suggestions. You could try a direct question about this: "You seem to be in a negative mood today?" There is a chance they may tell you why. A more frustrated response from yoursekf may be: "Are you always going to say 'No' today:?" Finally, if you wish to be sarcastic about their behaviour, you could say: "If I offered you $100, would you still say 'No'?"
その人がなぜあなたの提案全てに対して冷たいのかには理由があるでしょう。 それについて直接的に聞くこともできるでしょう。: "You seem to be in a negative mood today?" 理由を教えてくれるチャンスかもしれません。 あなたからのより苛立った返答は次のようになるでしょう。: "Are you always going to say 'No' today:?" 最終的に、彼らの行動について皮肉を言いたいときには以下のように言いましょう。: "If I offered you $100, would you still say 'No'?"

  • Is no all you can say?

    play icon

  • What will make you say yes?

    play icon

The first phrase explains that the person only ever answers with the word 'no'. You are implying that they have no other vocabulary. The second phrase asks if they can say yes, is it possible? What makes you say yes? Or what do you say yes to?
最初のフレーズではその人は今まで常にnoしか言わなかったことを説明しています。 あなたは彼らが他の語彙を持っていないんじゃないかということを暗示しています。 2つ目の文ではあなたは彼らがyesということができるのか、何が彼らにyesと言わせることができるのか、なにについてならyesというのかについて尋ねています。

  • When will you ever say yes to anything I suggest? Are all my suggestion boring?

▪ You always say no to my suggestions, from now on you can come up with suggestions. This is telling her that you will not be making anymore suggestions because she always says no and that she must start making suggestions. ▪ When will you ever say yes to anything I suggest? Are all my suggestion boring? boring= not interesting Example 1 You: Can we go to the beach today? Her: No, I don't feel like it. You: You always say no to my suggestions, from now on you can come up with suggestions. Example 2 You: How about going fishing today? Her: No, I don't feel like it. You: When will you ever say yes to anything I suggest? Are all my suggestion boring?
▪ You always say no to my suggestions, from now on you can come up with suggestions. これは、彼女が常にnoしか言わないので、あなたはもう提案を出さず、彼女が出すべきだということを彼女に伝えています。 ▪ When will you ever say yes to anything I suggest? Are all my suggestion boring? boring = 興味がないこと、面白くないこと 例 1 You: Can we go to the beach today? ビーチに行かない? Her: No, I don't feel like it. そんな気分じゃないの。 You: You always say no to my suggestions, from now on you can come up with suggestions. いつもそうだね。じゃあなんかアイディアを出してよ。 例 2 You: How about going fishing today? 魚釣りに行かない? Her: No, I don't feel like it. そんな気分じゃないの。 You: When will you ever say yes to anything I suggest? Are all my suggestion boring? いつになったら私の提案にyesと言ってくれるんですか?私の提案はそんなに全部つまらないですか?

  • You say 'no' to everything I say/suggest/do.

    play icon

  • You never say a 'yes' to anything I say/suggest/do.

    play icon

  • You turn down every suggestion I make.

    play icon

Explanation: To turn down something (phrasal verb) means to not agree to or accept an offer/request. To suggest (verb) means to show or express something. A suggestion (noun) is an idea, plan, or action that is expressed. Example sentences: 1. It makes it very difficult to suggest anything to you as you always say a 'no' to me. 2. You never ever say a 'yes' to me and this makes it really hard for me to suggest anything to you. 3. Turning down every suggestion of mine makes it very difficult for me to suggest anything to you.
説明: To turn down something (句動詞) は、提案や要求に対して同意しない、または受け入れないことを意味しています。 To suggest (動詞) は、何かを示したり表現したりすることです。 A suggestion (名詞) は表現された考えや計画、行動のことを意味しています。 例: 1. It makes it very difficult to suggest anything to you as you always say a 'no' to me. 2. You never ever say a 'yes' to me and this makes it really hard for me to suggest anything to you. 3. Turning down every suggestion of mine makes it very difficult for me to suggest anything to you.

  • I can't believe you have said 'no' to all my suggestions.

    play icon

  • How can you say 'no' to all my suggestions?

    play icon

It sometimes does happen that all your ideas or suggestions are rejected by your colleague or friend. This sort of thing can be hard to believe. However, the only solution would be to think hard and carry on suggesting until your colleague/friend says 'yes' to one of your suggestions. So, instead of wondering internally as to why your colleague has said 'no' to all your suggestions, you will definitely be prompted to say: I can't believe you have said 'no' to all my suggestions. or How can you say 'no' to all my suggestions?
同僚や友人などに自分の提案を全て反対されることはたまにあります。信じられないこともあるでしょう。しかし、よく考え、相手が納得するまで提案するのもいいでしょう。 どうして自分の提案が全部反対されるのか心の内で考えるより、以下のように言ってみるのがいいでしょう。   I can't believe you have said 'no' to all my suggestions.  私の提案全てダメと言ったことが信じられないわ! How can you say 'no' to all my suggestions? どうして私の提案全てだめなの?

  • Is there anything that you will agree to? You keep saying no.

    play icon

  • Is no the only word you know? What will you agree to?

    play icon

"Is there anything that you will agree to? You keep saying no." This response is a bit sarcastic. The first half poses a question, and the second part of the response explains why you asked the question. "Is no the only word you know? What will you agree to?" This is another sarcastic response, but it instead of being followed by an explanation, it is followed by another question. This is a follow up question, and can be slightly less sarcastic as it opens the floor (gives them an opportunity) to defend and explain themselves.
"Is there anything that you will agree to? You keep saying no."(何だったら賛成するの?ノーばっかりじゃん) - この例は少し皮肉です。前半部分は質問で、後半はその質問をする理由です。 "Is no the only word you know? What will you agree to?"(ノーという言葉しか知らないの?何だったら賛成するわけ?) - これも皮肉ですが、ここでは質問の後に説明ではなくもう一つ質問を続けています。これはフォローアップ質問です、相手に弁明の機会を与えている分、一つ目の例ほど皮肉っぽくありません。

  • Why do you only say no to all of my suggestions?

    play icon

  • No is always the first thing that comes out of your mouth when I make a suggestion.

    play icon

When posed as a question, you can get across the information properly by allowing the person to respond. It could be that they had not realised this was their response. The second statement is slightly more brazen and in your face. It makes little room for a response, but let's the person you are speaking to know how you feel.
質問にすると、相手の回答を待ちながら自分の気持ちを伝えることができます。相手はそれを返答のつもりでは言っていなかった可能性もあります。 二つ目の文は少しずうずうしくて挑発的です。相手に返答の余地をほぼ与えません、自分の気持ちを伝えます。
