友人にお茶を出したいのですが、『温かい飲み物と冷たい飲み物』をどちらを飲みたいか尋ねる時、ネイティブな言い方を教えてください。
また飲み物は「beverag」という言葉が適切ですか？

「何が飲みたい？熱いもの？冷たいもの？」
という言い方になります。
What would you like to drink? は、レストランに行くとまずサーバーの人に「飲み物は何にしますか」と聞かれるフレーズですね。
熱いもの・冷たいものという選択肢はレストランで聞かれることはないです。

お友達に飲み物を出したいというシチュエーションということなので、あらたまって「beverage」を使う必要はないと思います。カジュアルにたずねたい場合は「何か熱いものか、冷たいものを飲みたいですか？」と聞く方が自然だと思います。店員さんや客室乗務員などが質問する場合は「お飲み物」というニュアンスで「beverage」が使われます。
ちなみに「温かい飲み物」と言いたいとき、英語では「warm」は使いません。warmだと「なまぬるい」という意味になるので「hot」を使いましょう。ご参考にしていただければ幸いです。

Native speakers will say like this: “Do you want to drink something cold or warm”.
There are lots of other ways to say it, but this one is the most accurate and most commonly used.
Here is an example on how to use this in a conversation:
A: Can I please have something to drink?
B: Of course! Do you want to drink something cold or warm?
