役割って英語でなんて言うの？

「役割」という単語は、使い方によって意味が変わります。

・「役割分担をしたい」と表現したい場合は、I want to assign...になります。

・「役割」はroleになります。

例：
「あなたの会社での役割は～」＝Your role in this company is…

「たまに社会での私の役割が何なのかについて考えます」＝Sometimes I think about what my role is in society.

What's your responsibility?「あなたのやるべきこと(役割)って何？」という使い方もできます。日本語だと「役割」と一言で済ませることはできますが、英語だと、roleやresponsibilityだけでなく、chargeも使います。In charge of A「Aの担当で」の用法です。What are you in charge of?で「あなたの役割は何？」と使うこともできます。

役割は英語で role や duty と言います。

Role は単に「役割」で、dutyは「役割」より責任のニュアンスが強いです。
