You could tell them when you saw the film - 'two weeks ago,' or how you managed to see the film - "I saw the film before it was released here because I was in Australia and it was released there first."

We don't always need to be so clear and use a noun in our sentence. This is an informal situation so the natural speech takes over. If you have already seen the movie your friend is showing you, you can say "I've (already) seen this one".
Or, if they tell you the movie title, you can say "I've already seen that one".

"Already seen it"（もう観ました）や"Watched it last week"（先週観ました）と簡単に言うことができます。
"Been there, done that"（そこにいたのでもう観ました）も最近よく使われる皮肉です。
また、競争心があるときはSorry I beat you to it(先を越しちゃってごめんなさい)と付け加えてもいいでしょう。
1)のように現在完了形を使って、「もう見たよ」と表現することができます。Alreadyは「すでに、もう」と言う意味です。
2)のように簡単に「私もその映画を見たよ」とい言うこともできます。もしTV(DVD)で観た場合は、"watched"を使って、"I watched it on TV(DVD)!" とも言えます。
"I have seen it already." This explains to the person that you have watched the movie that recommended to you.
"I watch it last week." This explains that you have already watched the movie and told them when you watched it.
"I have seen it already."
勧められた映画をすでに観たことを相手に伝える表現です。
"I watch it last week."
その映画をすでに観たこと、そしていつ観たのかを伝える表現です。
You would try and be polite when answering this but 'oh yeah, I've already seen that one!' expresses to your friend you have already watched that movie .
You could say 'yeah, I watched that movie 2 weeks ago' this explains when you saw it
