You can explain that you passed the test when you were at school. If it was a long time since you went to school, then you can just say 'school', there isn't really a need to say which school or age because as we get older school means when we were young!

Passing a snowboard skills test when still quite young must have been fun - and it's great that you have taken part in an independent test to prove you are good! You could also use the passive form when talking about this: "My snowboard skills were assessed.." the passive form may be used when the identity of the person (in this case the skills examiner) is not important.
"My snowboard skills were assessed."

Hello! I think "I passed the snowboarding test when I was in middle school" is a good response. In this response, "snowboarding" is used as a verb, just like "boarding" or "skating" or "driving". This is a common use in the United States, however, I am not as certain for other countries. For example: * "I like to go snowboarding on weekends." * "I passed my snowboarding test today." It can be acceptable to say "snowboard skill test", however, I think this sounds quite unnatural. "Middle school" is the common name for "junior high school" in the United States. I hope this helps! Good luck!✰✰
"I passed the snowboarding test when I was in middle school" 中学校のときにスノーボードの試験に合格した。 例: * "I like to go snowboarding on weekends." * "I passed my snowboarding test today."

You can start by mentioning the period during which you passed the snowboard skill test and 'it was when you were in middle school'. Also, you may vary this by starting with 'I remember'. This is so because you are recalling the period when you passed the snowboard skill test, especially if you are telling somebody about your past achievements. So, you may say: It was when I was in middle school that I passed the snowboard skill test. or I remember passing the snowboard skill test when I was in middle school.
つまり、'it was when I was in middle school'(中学校のときでした)。 It was when I was in middle school that I passed the snowboard skill test. (中学生のときに、スノーボードの技術試験に受かりました) I remember passing the snowboard skill test when I was in middle school.

"I passed a snowboard skill test while in middle school".(私は中学生の頃スノーボードの技術試験に合格した) よりフォーマルに言いたければ、 "Whilst in middle school, I passed a snowboarding test."(私は中学生の頃スノーボードの技術試験に合格した) が使えます。
