靴って英語でなんて言うの？

「靴」は ”shoes"　または　”a pair of shoes"　と言います。

ハイヒールの事は　”heels"
革靴は　”dress shoes"
スニーカーは　”sneakers"　もしくはスラングで　”kicks"　と呼ばれる事があります。

「靴（複数形）」は shoes と言います。
a pair of shoes（靴一足）と言う表現もあります。

【例】
I need new shoes.
「新しい靴買わなきゃ」

I would like to buy a pair of shoes.
「靴を一足買いたいのですが」

shoeは、基本shoes（複数）で使われます。

余談ですが、もちろん複数を用いない場合もあります。
たとえば、shoeには多くのExpressionがあるなかで、comfortable as an old shoe 「居心地の良い」という表現です。

日本語の「靴」をそのまま英語に訳すと「shoes」になります。

日本語でも「シューズ」と言うことがありますね。

→靴を脱ぐ

remove your shoes
