先生にも姪と甥がいて良くベビーシッターしてますので、お気持ちとても良くわかります。辛くなければ子供は大好きだけど、大人が好きなのはインドカレーのスパイシーさですものね〜♪
本題。
お店の人に、〜はありますか？というのは、Do you have 〜 と言う言い方が一番伝わりやすいです。簡単ですので、もうこれは覚えてしまいましょうね。
辛いは、hot スパイシーは、そのまま spicy で伝わります。
less というのは、more の反対で、より少ない、という意味なので、これをhot や spicy の前につけると簡単ですよね。
子供が食べれる香辛料が少なくて辛く無いカレーが有りますか？

Can I please have a mild curry? It is for my child.
Do you a have a curry that my children can eat?
All curries use different herbs and spices to give the food that 'curry' flavour. The spices are also used to give 'heat' to the food, chillies and different peppers.
There are 3 different levels of 'heat' in a curry.
These are:
Mild - gives the curry flavour, has herbs and spices but not too much heat
Medium - a medium amount of heat - can definitely feel this in your mouth
Hot - very spicy with a lot of heat - aghhhhhh!!! :)
When you specify that it is for your child/children, most places will tell you which curries are appropriate for children and make sure that they don't give you anything that's too hot. So you could ask "Do you have a curry that my children can eat?"
Or you could ask for a mild curry and let them know that its for your kids. For example "Do you have a curry with only mild spice? It's for my child."
例1：Can I please have a mild curry? It is for my child.

カレーはハーフやスパイスが入っており、それが「カレー」たらしめていますね。
辛さを加えるスパイスも入っていますね。
カレーの辛さには3段階あります。
Mildーマイルド（辛さ弱め）。カレーの香りは残しつつ、あまり辛くない
Mediumーミディアム（辛さ普通）。平均的な辛さ。確実に辛さを感じます。
Hotーホット（辛さ強め）。めちゃ辛い！嗚呼ー！
子供用にオーダーしたい場合、ほとんどのカレー屋さんではどの辛さが子供に良いか教えてくれるでしょう。例2の"Do you a have a curry that my children can eat?"で「子供でも食べられるカレーはありますか？」と聞くことができます。
それか、辛さが弱めのカレーを頼むのがいいかも。
"Do you have a curry with only mild spice? It's for my child"
「辛さ弱めのカレーはありますか？子供用です」

Do you have a children's curry that isn't too hot please?
Yes, it almost seems like a contradiction in terms to ask for a curry that is neither spicy nor hot, but of course, it is great to introduce the child to new cuisine. However, if you
are already aware the child does not enjoy spicy or hot food, maybe better get them a
bag of chips as an alternative?
"My child would like a plate of not-hot, not-spicy curry please!"
スパイシーじゃなく、辛くもないカレーを頼むのは
少し矛盾しているような気がしますが、
もちろん、子供に新しい料理を紹介するのは良いと思います。
しかし、もうすでに子供が辛いものが好きではないことを知っているにであれば、
代わりに、チップスをあげたほうが良いかもしれません。
"My child would like a plate of not-hot, not-spicy curry please!"

*Do you a dish curry that is suitable for kids.- This means you would like to know if they offer any dishes that kids can eat.
A: Do you a dish curry that is suitable for kids.
B: Yes we do. It has the following spices ........

- これは子供が食べられるカレーがあるかどうか知りたい、と言う意味になります。

We refer to curry's that are not hot and spicy as 'mild'. So you can ask for a mild dish, or a mild curry. If you would like, you can add that it is for children, so they are made fully aware of your situation.
Spicy means hot because of the chilli it contains. So you could also say something like "Do you have any curries that are not spicy?"
辛くないカレーのことを 'mild'と言います。ですから刺激の少ない食べ物又はあまり辛くないカレーを頼むことが出来ます。お望みであれば、子供用の料理だということを付け加えれば、あなたの状況をよく理解してもらえるでしょう。
Spicyは、チリパウダーが入っていので辛いということです。ですからこのように言うことが出来ます。

"Is there a kids menu?" This asks them if they have a menu that children can choose food off of.
"Do you have a curry that is mild enough for children?" This asks the person if they have a curry that the child can eat.

A mild curry is a curry that has little to no spice in it. If you ask for a ''mild'' curry, it usually has a lot of coconut cream in it. It, not always, but usually does not have much spice in it. It's best to ask how spicy it is.
''Spicy'' is what we call the level of spice in the dish.
Example:
Q: How spicy is it?
A: It is very spicy./ It is not spicy at all.
「mild curry」は、ほとんどまたは全くスパイスの入っていないカレーのことです。「mild curry」には大抵「coconut cream（ココナッツクリーム）」がたくさん入っています。普通（100％ではない）あまりスパイスは入っていません。どのくらいの辛さか聞くのがベストです。
「Spicy」は料理の辛さを表します。
