①This menu item is more popular (than the other one).

Menu item→メニュー項目
More popular→もっと人気がある

かっこの”than the other one"は、もう一つの方、という意味です。
文法的に、二つのものを比較するときは、○○ is more...than △△となりますが、口頭で伝える際は、省いてもOKです。

②Many of our customers seem to like this one better (than the other one).

Many of our customers→多くのお客様
Seem to like this one better→こちらの方がお好きなようです

上記同様、かっこの"than the other one"は、文法的な理由から入れてありますが、口頭で伝える場合は言わなくても大丈夫です。

他には、

Prefer→○○を好む、という動詞を用いて、”Many of our customers prefer this one”（多くのお客様は、こちらの方を好まれます）と表現することも出来ます。

もっとシンプルに、”Many customers like this one"（こちらを好むお客様は多いです）でも十分に伝わると思います。

This menu itemまたはThis oneと言うと同時に、メニューを見せて、そのものを指し示すとより伝わり易いかと思われます。
