説明するは explain / describe / give one's account と言います。

＊この場合は教えてあげると言うニュアンスのtold (tell) を使います。

「説明する」をそのまま英語に訳すと「explain」などになります。

道の案内になると「show <someone> the way]という英語を使います。行き方を教えるということです。
例えば：
Can you show me the way to the train station? (駅までの道を教えてもらえますか）
Let me show you the way (行き方を教えてあがえましょうか）
迷っていそうな人を見たらまず「are you lost?](道を迷っていますか）と聞いたら良いです。「はい」と返事が来たら次「Where are you trying to go?」(どこに行きたいですか)と聞いたら良いです。下記の会話を参考にしてください。

1.) to explain (説明する) 「説明する」は英語でto explainと訳せます。
例えば、
I will explain the route. (道順を説明する)
迷子になっている人と切り出したい時は英語で最初に
Do you need some help? (手伝いましょうか)
と尋ねていいです。
日本語の「説明する」が英語で「explain」か「describe」といいます。
以下は例文です。
私はその意味を彼女に説明した ー I explained the meaning to her
私はその男の特徴を警官に説明した ー I described the man to the policeman.
君は欠席の理由を説明しないといけない ー You have to explain your absence.

「説明する」という言葉を英語で表すと、「explain」という言葉になります。「説明」は「explanation」という意味がありますので、「give an explanation」という表現も使っても良いです。例えば、「Please explain this meaning.」と「Please give an explanation of this meaning.」という文章と言っても良いです。「Meaning」は「意味」です。
説明するは英語でexplainと言いますが、道案内の場合は違う表現とを使います。explainの説明はその話題についてもっと詳しく説明するというニュースです。
自分は道順を知りたいときに「Could you show・tell me how to get to XX?」という表現を使います。逆に助けに行きたい場合は「I can show・tell you how to get to XX」と言います。短くすると「I can show・tell you how.」にも使えます。
それに言われたら、迷子になっている人たちに助かります。
簡単に、「説明する」って言う言葉は英語で"to explain"か"to describe"になります。
でも、道順を説明する時や「説明しましょうか？」と言う時などの場面で、"to show"
を使った方がいいと思います。この場合には、「説明しましょうか？」って言う文は”Shall I show you the way?"になるでしょう。
絶対に”to explain”を使いたかったら、"Shall I explain how to get there?"って言う質問も言えます。
誰かに目的地にたどり着く説明することは「Tell you directions」と言います。

何かを説明することは「Explain」と言います。
