The joint that connects the forearm to the hand is called a wrist.
Like with most joints, they can be sprained, twisted and broken. So for example, if you were to go and see a doctor you could say:
A: Doctor, my wrist hurts.
B: I don't think it's broken, it's probably just been sprained.
手と前腕をつなぐ関節のことをwrist（手首）と言います。
ほとんどの関節と同様、捻挫したり（sprained）、ひねったり（twisted）、骨折したり（broken）します。
例えば、医者に行くなら、次のように言えます。

骨折はしていないと思う。おそらく捻挫ですね。
