色落ちする服を一緒に洗濯したら他の服にも色が移ったって英語でなんて言うの？

「洗濯機でピンクの服と白の服を一緒に洗ったら、他の服にも色が移ってしまった時です」＝　I put a pink shirt (またはskirt, t-shirtなど）in the washing machine with whites and now everything has turned pink / I put something pink in the washing machine with whites and the pink dye transferred to the whites / I put something pink in the washing machine and the pink dye bled onto my white clothes

英語では、「colors/colours」（色落ちする服）と「whites」（白っぽい洋服）という二つの種類の洋服を分けます。

「色が移った」＝ (the pink dye) bled onto my white clothes / the color transferred to the other clothes / it dyed the other clothes

「tie-dye」は「絞り染め」という洋服を染めるテクニックです。確かに、色落ちする服を白い洋服と一緒に洗うと、「絞り染めた」ようにみえますが、わざと「絞り染めた」わけではないので「tie-dye」という表現を使いません。

washed clothes that give off color は色が出る服という意味として使いました。色の濃いシャツあるいはパンツとかがほとんどです。アメリカの衣料品は色落ちするものがほとんどなので洗濯する時には、色が出ない服と洗うと、この場合みたいに、色が出ない服に色がついてしまうので、分けて洗うことをオススメします。

clothes that do not give off color は色が出ない服という意味として使います。色が出ない服は、ほとんど色が薄い服あるいは、何回も洗っているから、濃い色のシャツあるいはパンツはもう色が出ないと判断されたものが多いです。
