When you don't need to change trains during your journey, it is called a direct train because it goes directly there.

「direct train」は、目的地まで電車を乗り継ぐ必要がない時に使われます。
directly (直接に) にそこまで行ける、ということです。
"I can get the direct train to London"
(ロンドンまで直通の電車がある)

(ロンドンまで直通の電車はない)
(1) You would not have to transfer
'would not have to ~' = 「〜をしなくていい」
'transfer' = 「乗り換え」
(2) You do not have to change trains
'do not have to ~' ＝「〜をしなくていい」
'change trains' = 「電車を変える」「乗り換え」
少し冷たい印象を与えてしまう可能性もありますが (3) 'no transfer'や、もちろん 'no change' でも伝わります。
If you take this train it brings you there directly.
Lets call this train 'A', it does not go to their stop and there are no transfers, you would say, "You can't transfer from this train." You can then direct them to the correct train and say, "If you take this train it brings you there directly."
The first example is to say, "Don't take that train." the second example is saying, "This is the train you need."
「A」という列車があるとします。「A」は相手の目的地に行かず、乗り換えもありません。その場合：
"You can't transfer from this train."
（この列車では乗り換え出来ません）
↑と言えます。
それから正しい列車に誘導して：
"If you take this train it brings you there directly."
（この列車は目的の駅まで直行します）
↑と伝えます。
最初の例文は、 "Don't take that train." （あの列車に乗らないで下さい）という意味で、二番目の例文は、"This is the train you need."（これが必要としている列車です）という意味です。
A direct train from A to B means that you do not have to change trains for this journey. There are 'no changes'.
"The direct train to Manchester will be leaving in 5 minutes"
「a direct train from A to B」は、AからBまで乗り換えなしで行けることを表します。
例文： "The direct train to Manchester will be leaving in 5 minutes"
(マンチェスターまでの直通列車はあと5分で発車します）
We don't have any transfers. You can get there directly on this train.
When you want to explain to someone that they can only take one train somewhere and that there aren't any transfers. You can say:
-We only have direct routes.
-We don't have any transfers. You can get there directly on this train..
乗り換えの必要がなく、一つの電車で目的まで到着できるときは以下のように表現できます。
-We only have direct routes.
（直通の電車しかありません。）
-We don't have any transfers. You can get there directly on this train.（乗り換えはなく、この電車で目的地に到着できます。）
