I look forward to your reply or response is a very nice way to end a letter, letting someone know that you are waiting for their answer. To await means to attend, to be waiting for or to be holding, as if in suspension for something. We don't use await when we are using the bus or something, it's more intangible. I await news from you or I await a response/reply. I will attend your answer/reply/response is also a polite way to end a letter letting someone know you need a response. Instead, less formal, one can say "I look forward to hearing from you".
