冒頭に、When you are making a roll,として下記をつなげるとよりスムーズです。
Leave some room on the edge.
→端：edgeに隙間：some roomを残すように
Do not place rice on the edge.
→端にお米を置かないように。
Make sure there are 2cm of empty space on the edge.
→端に2cmの空のスペースを作るように。
2cmは、アメリカ人には通じないのでa little less than an inch.と補足説明をつけてあげてください。（実際は、0.78インチです。）
