ただし、「誕生日は６月です」のように月だけ述べる場合には、

のようにinが必要です。

These are probably the most common (and simplest) ways to tell the date of your birthday. Using 'on' is optional if you use the phrase "My birthday is..." Just remember that the preposition 'on' is used when talking about specific dates, and 'in' is used for just the name of the month ('in June'). However, if you do not want to worry about prepositions, then you can simply use the third example, "June 10th is my birthday."

If your birthday is ON June THE 10th then you have a choice of either usinbg ON in the sentence, or leaving it out- as exampled above. In the UK we invariable would use THE when talking about dates, though ON is more of an optional word.
