空席があれば当日でも座れますって英語でなんて言うの?

基本は事前予約制のバスですが、空きがあれば当日でも乗れます、というニュアンスです。

  • You can get a seat without a reservation as long as there's a seat available on the day of your travel.

  • Seats are subject to availability and prior reservation is recommended.

ここでの「座れます」は「バスの席を確保出来る」という意味になるかと思いますので、sit down ではなく、get a seat と致しました。 また、補足文からの情報も踏まえて、「予約をしていなくても」を意味する withou reservation を加えました。 as long as は「〜である限り」という意味になります。この部分を if「もし」に変えて頂いても問題ありませんが、文脈的に as long as を用いて頂くとさらにしっくりとくる文章になるのではと思います。 There is a seat available で、「席が空いている」という文章になります。 「当日」は on the day と表現出来ます。ここでは on the day of your travel とし、「ご旅行(ご搭乗)される当日」と補足しました。 なお、二つ目の訳文は、英語圏で見かける表現です。訳としては下記のようになります。 「席は空き状況によりますので、事前の予約をおすすめいたします」 基本的に似た意味の文ですが予約を推奨する内容になっていますので、英語圏のお客様向けであれば状況によってはこのようなフレーズを用いて頂いても良いかと思います。

When talking about a bus ride, you can explain the situation where a reserved ticket may not be necessary if there are empty seats left on the vehicle.

  • You can get a spot on the bus without a reservation only if it is not booked out.

When you "reserve" a seat on a bus, it means you have arranged for a bus seat to be kept for your use at a specific time. We call this a "reservation" or a "booking". Another way to say something is "available" is to say it is "free". For example, you may ask someone in a cinema if the chair next to them is occupied by asking "Is this chair free?". When all possible seats or "spots" have been reserved, you can say that "all spots on the bus have been filled up" or that the bus has been "booked out".
あなたがバスの席を「reserve」するというのは、ある日時にバスの座席を予約するということです。これを、「reservation」「booking」と言います。 何かが「available」だという別の言い方は、何かが「free」だと言えます。例えば、映画館で誰かに隣の席があいているかを尋ねるとき、「Is this chair free?(この座席空いていますか?)」と言えます。 全ての座席や場所が予約されているとき、以下のように言えます。 all spots on the bus have been filled up. the bus has been booked out. (バスは全席予約済みです。)

  • Seats on the day are subject to availability so it's recommended to buy a ticket in advance

Subject to availability' is a phrase meaning that it is possible to buy or choose something if it is still available. In advance means ahead in time.

  • If the bus has seats available, then you'll be able to ride on it.

  • As long as there are unbooked seats, you can still ride the bus.

Sentence One - This presents the situation by using 'if...', and then you can tell a possible result. This tells the person that he/she can only ride the bus if it has empty seats remaining. Sentence Two - Similar to using 'if' to present a situation, you can use the phrase 'as long as'. For example: "You can still ride the bus as long as there are seats unbooked." Again, this tells the person that he/she will be allowed to ride the bus if it still has empty seats before traveling.
例文1 - ここでは、まず'if...'で状況を示し、それからその結果としてできることを伝えています。この文で、席が残っている場合に限ってバスに乗ることができることが伝わります。 例文2 - 'if'と同様に、'as long as'も使えます。例えば: "You can still ride the bus as long as there are seats unbooked."(予約されていない席があれば、バスに乗ることができます) この文も同様に、空いている席があればバスに乗ることができることを表します。

  • You can ride on the bus without reserving a seat if there are available seats.

The two sentences you see provided above are excellent ways to express to your listener that you can ride the bus without a reservation if there are available seats. In the second sentence you will see the word reserve. This means to order that something be put aside for you, like a seat on the bus or a table at a restaurant.
上記二つの例文は、空いている席があれば予約なしでバスに乗ることができることを伝える素晴らしい言い方です。 二つ目の例文には、"reserve"という単語が使われています。"reserve"は「〔バスの席やレストランのテーブルを〕予約する」という意味です。
